It includes a time line allowing users to browse the collection and visually choose an era from American history. Upon selecting an era, users can find artifacts, interactives, lessons, primary sources, web sites, reference materials, and worksheets. Users can also search by grade level, standard, or resource type.

This site includes detailed teacher's guides for use with the book "Sallie Fox" by Dorothy Leland Kupcha. For each teacher's guide (each guide is written for one chapters), there is a chapter overview, list of chapter themes, two activities for each primary subject area (with a listing of relevant objectives), a detailed historical overview relating to the content of the chapter(s), and links to additional websites.
