This website was created through the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center which "inspires commitment to social justice and positive change" through education. Stowe is the author of the American classic "Uncle Tom's Cabin" that changed the way Americans viewed slavery. The website provides lesson plans (some of which contain reading materials, rubrics, student questions, etc), resources, and primary source documents as they relate to Native American slavery as well as slavery in general.
