The X Factor week 4 saw the Halloween the theme for the 10 hopeful contestants left in the competition. It certainly was an apt theme in that it turned out to be a living nightmare for the programme maker, judges and of course for one contestant in particular.

It was 'Dance Classics' week, and if you were lead to believe that is was going to be a two-step extravaganza as portrayed by The Xtra Factor, you were wrong. With even more twists and turns with series 8 of The X Factor that made Twitter weep, the social buzz has never been so entertaining.

The quarter finals gave each of the contestants an opportunity to showcase two songs, choosing a guilty pleasure and a song they love to sing. The Girls' mentor Kelly Rowland, the only judge that had all three acts remaining found her success (or luck) to be waning with Misha B and Janet Devlin in the bottom two left to sing it out for survival.
