Never really thought about this before but just came across it whilst opening a video still in PS. Pixels have a different aspect ratio in video. Open a video still in photoshop at 1:1 and it will be elongated, if you embed a bitmap correct the AR first.

New look for the BBC news has been unveiled. Not quite half-arsed, but seriously underwhelming. I had high hopes for this given the quality of the new homepage and the way the new style was carried through to /programmes site. This is just a hybrid mess.
