Recently, I noticed Organization Anti-Social Geniuses had created a project for us to share on our manga history. While I’m not a veteran when it comes to manga, my history with manga isn’t as long as what you would expect from my anime history. Still, I’ll divulge my past with manga, which I seldom even talked about much.
When I was young, I was never exposed to a lot of anime or manga. The only time I managed to gain access to some anime were airings of Akazukin Cha Cha on Cartoon Network, and random tapes of Ranma 1/2. My sister managed to borrow full volumes of Shin-chan and Doraemon though, from some of her hardcore friends, and those two become my first ever manga I read. Both were excellent in their own rights, Shin-chan’s antics and Doraemon’s creative gadgets, both had elements to keep me reading on and on continuously.

It sure had been a long time since I wrote posts like these. One way or the other, I managed to make progresses of my visual novels playthroughs, though it had been quite hard. Some of the visual novels in this post are completed months back, while some completed only recently and some incomplete and some… well, barely even started.
Here are some quick impressions of the few visual novels I played, in the course of several months.

With an anime as crazy and insane as Gintama, there had to be someone who maintain any sanity left in the show. He is usually ordinary and has a genuine amount of common sense, setting every weird atmospheres into the correct track. Without them, the comedy, jokes and randomness will go haywire, such is the role of the straight man.
In contrast to last week, in the third week of the Remember Love project, we will be talking about Shimura Shinpachi, and his role of being the straight man.

Super Mario’s theme song, had been one of the most sensational and memorable game soundtracks ever, to the point that even famous musicians like Jay Chou is seen doing Super Mario covers all the time during his live shows. Likewise can be said to most of the music performers seen in youtube as well. In the horde of youtube musicians, I present you all my top 3 most favorite super mario covers ever.

I had been avoiding the ace attorney series like a plague, cause the premise just doesn’t interest me. I mean, a game about.. lawyers? You gotta be kidding me. However, since I was running out of NDS games to play, I thought I should just give this series a chance. Turns out, it’s not as bad as I thought, in fact, it’s the best damn thing I had ever played. This started around last year and I only managed to catch up with all of the releases last few months.

Continuing where we left off, for the Remembering Love project this week, I’ll once again, entail everyone about Gintama’s greatness. This time, we will talk about the other side of Gintama. The tears, drama and the intensity: the seriousness.

Half a decade in the making, the Mass Effect trilogy had finally come to an end, entailing the epic tales of one man, one leader, Shephard, who took the lives and burden of the entire galaxy on his back.
For two full games, Shephard had been warning everyone that the Reapers are coming, to bring annihilation to the entire civilization in galactic space, and in Mass Effect 3, his revelations finally turn into a reality. The reapers are here, they are big, they are bad, they are nasty, and they will not stop until they eliminate every one last living organization in the galaxy.

I played and finished Mass Effect 3 quite some time ago and it had been a fun ride, though the ending is kinda.. controversial. I might be making a full review on this game soon so more onto that soon I guess.
As all of you know, Mass Effect is very reliant on choices and actions taken by the gamer themselves, which could effect the outcomes, and taking it in a more exaggerating manner, the choices could even effect the whole galaxy. For this minor post of mine, I just want to share everyone my most regretful choices and decisions I made in Mass Effect overall (since I play all three installments in a “one-way trip” without any replays). A warning for spoilers, just in case.

Thanks to Yerocha, who invited me in his project, I now had the opportunity to present my very own ideal anime cast. My cast will use a supernatural theme, with “elements” being the main subject when choosing a character.
As for what elements I’m choosing, I’ll be diving into a deep and emotional depth of Fire, Ice and Lightning, the power trio of most common elements.
