Who is a Yogi?: This life stands between the two ends of birth and death. Our life, emerging from behind the curtain of the unknown, exhibits itself for some time to this manifest world and then makes its exit, merging with the known again. This life is like a manuscript which has lost its pages in the beginning and at the end.

Most people sleep without resolving their tensions,
This is termed nidra.
Nidra means sleep, no matter what or why,
But yoga nidra means sleep after throwing off the burdens,
It is of a blissful, higher quality altogether.
When awareness is separate and distinct from the modifications of mind.
When waking, dream and deep sleep pass like clouds,
Yet awareness remains

What is Vedanta? ‘Veda’ means ‘knowledge’, and ‘Anta’ means ‘the highest’. Vedanta, therefore, stands for the highest knowledge. There are many nuances of truth. ‘Someone is sitting there’, is true. ‘John is sitting there’,is also true. ‘John is sitting on the bench there’, is a greater truth.
