Al parecer, prácticamente no tenían el mínimo interés en lo que se estaba diciendo; todo lo que deseaban, aparentemente, era grabar la ocasión y, quizá, subirla a Youtube. Habían renunciado a prestar atención al momento y optado por grabar con sus teléfonos celulares en lugar de observar con sus propios ojos.

Pour un dollar t'as quoi ? Le projet de Jonathan Blaustein, qui achète un dollar de nourriture et le photographie pour montrer "ce que vaut un dollar". Intéressant. Selon lui, la photo est utilisée par la pub pour tricher... lui veut montrer la nourriture dans sa réalité... "crue" en quelque sorte.

Since I was a little girl I have always been curious why Jewish women have to pray separately from men. Having to look down while the men read and carried the Torah around the temple often made me feel like an external presence in this spiritual experience.

Why are women not allowed among men and why they are not to touch the Torah with their bare hands? Why are they to braid the Challah and why are they the ones who have to light the candles on Shabbat, but they cannot be more involved in the tradition of Jewish learning? Federica Valabrega

Widespread anti-government protests in Kyrgyzstan recently turned violent, with groups of opposition protesters attempting to storm some government buildings, and clashing with riot police. Tensions are high, as Kyrgyz authorities declared a national state of emergency, and are enforcing curfews in at least three cities.

Beginning one week ago, thousands of young Kyrgyz men rampaged through parts of southern Kyrgyzstan with weapons and torches, attacking ethnic Uzbek neighborhoods, burning homes and stores, and, according to reports, beating, raping and killing Uzbek residents. The official death toll is over 200, though officials have indicated it may be ten times that number. The attacks lasted for several days, setting off a massive rush to flee the violence - an estimated 400,000 Uzbeks fled the region in the last week,
