Making lists and executing on them seems to be the biggest problem I see with people's productivity. There is often a stigma related to list making, such as it's lack of spontaneity and the fear of not hedging bets in many areas.

My favorite line: "Without a list, you can see how making intelligent decisions is impossible, so we resort to confusing activity with productivity."
